MBCT/MBSR-VC demonstrated medium positive effects on outcomes compared inactive controls (ds = 0.44 -0.71), little difference active in-person (all confidence intervals crossed zero). Evidence regarding mindfulness self-compassion as potential mechanisms action inconclusive. Future research should target populations using noninferiority designs. Adapting will require development guidelines training packages ensure best practice this adherence evidence-based models.
